Supporting Local Businesses

Almost all of our food and beverage suppliers are other local businesses. Our intention is for all of our supplies to be as locally sourced as possible. This commitment not only reduces our carbon footprint but also supports the local economy, fostering a sense of community and sustainability.

Our Packaging

All of our takeaway packaging is 100% biodegradable or compostable. This means that any paper bags, plastic cups, or baguette pouches we provide will disintegrate without harming the environment. The only exception to this are the branded products we stock; however, we have ensured that all of their materials are recyclable, and we use recycling bins in-store. We are hopeful that soon, brands will also switch to biodegradable packaging, aligning with our environmental goals.

Our Power

All of the power we use in-store comes from 100% renewable energy sources. These sources include wind turbines, solar power, and hydroelectric energy. This means your coffee is made by Mother Nature herself, ensuring that our energy consumption does not harm the planet.

Our Waste

Like every food outlet, we produce waste, whether it be from our food stock, packaging from deliveries, or the paper we print records on. To address this, we have implemented in-store recycling bins to ensure we minimize our environmental impact. Recycling helps us manage our waste responsibly, contributing to a cleaner, greener environment.

Our Straws

We can all probably agree that plastic is harmful, whether in the form of straws or bags. That's why we have switched from plastic to paper straws in our store. This small change is part of our broader commitment to reducing plastic waste and protecting the environment.

Our Food

On our menu, you may notice that we do not serve many fish dishes. This decision is in response to the global issue of overfishing, which is depleting our oceans and creating a toxic environment. By limiting fish dishes, we aim to contribute to the conservation of marine life.
